Strictly Because Owls are Cool

I've never seen an owl in the wild, but we hear one from our house all the time... click on the image for a larger view.

So I went to CATZ.

I'll update later with my review — but I think this is going to become a twice weekly activity.

A great workout!

I believe this was a sign at DC's 'The Black Cat' venue... known for it's rough shows.

Hey Lady, LOOKOUT!

There's a giant wolf behind you!
Where can I get that shirt?!

Final resting spot: a mall parking lot.

Graveyards in mall parking lots — good photos here... check out the grave of Mary Ellis in New Brunswick, seems like it deserves a visit.

The Fifty Two X — Thanks Ezra & Angela!

Some great photos from Ezra and Angela Boatwright — the 52X were one my favorite bands in 1993, though I missed the terrific show when their guitar player accidentally (?) electrocuted himself on stage...  Two of these guys went on to Dynasty (see the earlier post).

A sample from the unreleased "Liver Damage" EP "It Feels Good"

I'd really like to get Angela's photos of Rainer Maria playing on 19th Street!

UPDATE: great 52X material here!
